Wimbledon Search for a Star 2009

The joys of the British weather and strawberries and cream will soon be upon us, as one of the World's most famous tennis tournaments commences. Wimbledon 2009, with its new retractable roof, start on Monday 22nd June and KGS Tennis are keen to encourage young children to take up the game.

The Wimbledon Search for a Star is an initiative to help grow and develop participation within the game of Tennis. On Sunday 5th July, KGS Tennis in partnership with Callington Community Tennis Centre will be holding their search. The event is open to all school children and is aimed at both the beginner player or the elite player. Children are encouraged to come along to the FREE event from 9.00am to 10.30am and recieve coaching and tips on the game. It is also a great way to meet new friends, learn new skills and enjoy some fitness.
